Good news for the Poco F8

Ana sayfa / News

The Poco F8 series has been officially unveiled through the brand’s global accounts, confirming rumors of an earlier-than-expected release. The first teaser image reveals that the series will not only focus on processor power but also highlight a completely revamped audio architecture.

Poco had already stated that this new series would feature a high-performance processor. It was also announced that it would feature a completely revamped acoustic design. Poco’s improvements in this area aim to deliver a richer, deeper, and clearer audio experience, particularly in mobile gaming and multimedia.

While the shared images don’t directly mention model names, the visible design suggests that the brand is preparing to release the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra models globally soon.

It’s noteworthy that the launch, expected in December, is significantly earlier than Poco’s previous release schedule. This rapid transition is believed to be made to synchronize timing with the rapidly updated Redmi models in the Chinese market.

According to leaked information, the Poco F8 series will be rebranded global versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, models developed specifically for China. However, this rebranding process isn’t identical; there are some differences.

The most notable difference lies in the battery capacity. The Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra are claimed to feature smaller batteries compared to the Chinese versions. This is presumably due to the devices’ thinner design, better cooling system integration, or security and certification requirements for international markets.

The series’ processor side of the series brings significant innovations. The Poco F8 Pro is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the Poco F8 Ultra will feature the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform.
